Freq Sound Live Recording

Mobile rig in an earlier configuration above

Using a 32 channel isolated splitter, the identical signals that go to the mixing or monitor board are fed to class-A mic preamps and line inputs, then recorded digitally to the computer. This allows recording signal levels to be controlled independently of the live sound mix.

Freq Sound offers a simple and complete digital multitrack mobile recording service. Our custom designed and very compact rig is ideal for providing a quick setup when integrated with a house or concert sound system. It can also be used independently.

Price is typically $500 for an 8 hour day. Travel and multiple band events may be additional. After recording you receive all multitrack audio files on DVD or your hard drive, in whatever format (BWF, WAV, AIFF, SDII) is suitable for your computer software. Compatible programs include ProTools, Digital Performer, Nuendo, Logic, Cakewalk, Cubase, and even GarageBand. Mixing services are also available as needed.
